Oryx QR

Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-25

These terms govern your use of Oryx QR (the "Service"), operated by Oryx QR ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the shop you represent.

1. The Service

Oryx QR lets shops build and publish product pages that customers open by scanning a QR code. Features depend on your plan and may include multiple branches, Excel product import, WhatsApp cart ordering, analytics and customer feedback.

2. Accounts

  • Accounts are created by us or by invitation. You must give accurate details and keep your password secret.
  • You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by staff you give access to.
  • Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Subscriptions and payment

  • Plans are sold for one year at a time at the price shown in USD when you subscribe.
  • Subscriptions do not renew automatically. We will email you before your term ends; to continue, renew and pay before the end date.
  • When a term ends without renewal, your public page goes offline and your dashboard becomes read-only. Your data is kept so you can renew later.
  • Plan changes in the middle of a term are prorated. Invoices are final once paid; corrections are made with a separate adjustment.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or we agree in writing.

4. Your content

  • You own your product content, prices, photos and branding. You give us the licence needed to host, process and display it to run the Service.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish, including prices and product details.
  • Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is unlawful, misleading or offensive.

5. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access other shops' data, disrupt or overload the Service, scrape it, reverse-engineer it, or use it to send spam or malware. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Availability

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance and will try to give notice of planned downtime.

7. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Ending the Service

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or remain unpaid. You can ask us to export or delete your data; see the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will contact account owners about material changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon.
